Winnie the Pooh Sandwich

My kids said they really really really wanted a Pooh Bear sandwich for school. They kept insisting that I made Pooh Bear sandwiches many times before and it should be chicken feet to me.*sweat* I think they got mixed up with Rilakkuma bear. This is my first time making Pooh Bear character sandwich. Anyway, I do have a small bear shaped cutter and so I made a Pooh bear on the cheese as requested.
It was very time consuming to cut out the seaweed to form the facial expression. It took me about 30 minutes to make the 2 bear heads.  By the time I completed the head, I have no wish to continue making the body. Hee…so I left it as it was.
I only need to slap on peanut butter for the bread this morning and since I had time to spare, I decided to add something. Last minute inspiration to add the name 'POOH' to the sandwich. I used some shape cutters to form the alphabets but using a butter knife or a toothpick to cut the alphabets on the cheese does the trick too! I added quail eggs, cherries and a candy to go along with the sandwich.
I hope my little customers are satisfied with their request today.

  3. I am so sorry that I took for long to reply because I didn't get the notifications. I used dried seaweed and cut out the shapes using a pair of sharp scissors. You can also draw the picture on a piece of paper and cut out the eyes, lips and nose. After that place the cut out shapes on the dried seaweed and cut accordingly. Hope it helps.
